I provide instruction on how to master the art of babywearing while focusing on safety, ideal positioning for optimal development, supporting the physiological and psychological development of baby, and emphasizing comfort and support for the wearer.
I am a Certified Babywearing Educator (CBE) with the Babywearing Institute as well as the co-founder, former president and board member of Babywearing International of Portland, and I work tirelessly to make wearing your baby in a safe and comfortable manner accessible to all caregivers. All of my babywearing consultation and education services are designed to give parents the tools and support they need to take advantage of everything babywearing has to offer. I strongly believe that wearing your baby not only promotes secure Attachment with caregivers, but has benefits for the entire family and is a skill that can be mastered through education, practice, and hands-on support.

Private Consultations
Private consultations include 90 minutes of one-on-one babywearing instruction and hands-on assistance. You will have personal attention customized to your family’s unique babywearing needs and all in the comfort of your own home.
During your consultation I will provide information about babywearing safety, ideal positioning for optimal infant hip and spine development, recommended carriers, and step by step, hands-on instruction that is matched to your baby’s age and developmental stage. Use of my extensive baby carrier demo collection during the session is included.
Private consultations often also touch on birth, newborn care, emotional/physical support, and breastfeeding support. Parents with some babywearing experience may wish to discuss more advanced topics, such as nursing in the carrier, tandem carries, back carries, or toddler-wearing. As with all private consultations, I will adjust topics to your specific needs, and provide resources and suggestions for further learning, as well as continued phone and email support.
