Supporting students, families, and our community, in school and beyond.
LD Counseling Services is proud to partner with Ennis Schools to expand access to mental health support for children and adolescents in our community.
Through our school-based counseling program, Stephanie Rambo, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, provides counseling and mental health support to students in grades K–12 during the school day. Stephanie is completing the clinical internship requirements for her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College. All services are provided under clinical supervision through LD Counseling Services.
School-Based Services at Ennis Schools
School-based services are designed to give students a safe, supportive place to work through challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, or experience at school.
Support may include:
Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation
Coping skills and resilience
Peer and relationship concerns
Grief, loss, and life transitions
Self-esteem and confidence
Family changes and other life stressors
School-related challenges
Connecting students and families with additional mental health or community resources when needed
Stephanie works collaboratively with students, parents and caregivers, school staff, and other professionals when appropriate to help students feel supported both at school and in their lives outside of school.
Students are referred through the school's established referral process. Parents or guardians who have questions about school-based services may contact Stephanie or their child's school for additional information. Counseling Beyond the School SettingSometimes a child or family needs support that goes beyond what can reasonably be provided during the school day. Stephanie also provides supervised outpatient counseling through LD Counseling Services at the Wild Rose Integrative Health clinic in downtown Ennis.
Clinic-based services are separate from Stephanie's role at Ennis Schools and provide additional flexibility for individuals and families seeking ongoing mental health support.
At the clinic, Stephanie can work with:
Children & Teens Individual counseling for anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, grief, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. Adults Individual counseling for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, life transitions, emotional regulation, and other mental health concerns. Parents & Caregivers Parent consultation and support for caregivers who may need guidance navigating their child's emotional or behavioral needs, strengthening communication and connection, or determining what type of support may be most appropriate for their family. Groups & Community Support Stephanie may also provide psychoeducational, skills-based, support, or therapeutic groups for children, teens, adults, parents, or other members of the community as opportunities become available. School-Based Services vs. Clinic-Based CounselingWhile Stephanie provides services in both settings, school-based and clinic-based services are separate.
School-based services are provided through Stephanie's internship placement with Ennis Schools and are available to students without a fee to families.
Clinic-based counseling is provided through LD Counseling Services at Wild Rose Integrative Health and is designed for children, teens, and adults seeking outpatient counseling outside of the school setting. While Stephanie completes her graduate internship, her clinic services are available at a reduced private-pay rate and are not billed to insurance. Families are welcome to ask questions about which setting may be the best fit for their needs.
